Pre-Press Specifications
File Preparation:
To save cost, maintain quality and speed up production time on your job please keep in mind a few things to watch for:
Resolution - should be no less than 300 dpi on raster images (Grey scale and CMYK Photoshop files). When using Bitmap images the ppi should be at least 1200.
Bleeds - If you have image touching the edge of the piece, you need to have the art extended at least a 1/8" past the edge of the piece
Fonts - Include all your fonts for the job. Please do not give us all your fonts on your computer, only those used.
Color - Please make sure all your art is CMYK. Otherwise color issues may arise.
PDF – Leffler Printing Company has a complete PDF workflow. If you would like you may just send us a high resolution PDF with all the fonts embedded
